The changes in version 344 have been based on frequency of request. Below are some of the most frequently requested changes on the VisionVPM request list at the beginning of this year.
Increased Automation of Reminder Schedule
A new Reminder Setup window allows you to specify default dates, report, printer, email letter and txt message for sending reminders. Used in combination with the new automatic merge facility, Reminder Lists can be built automatically and the results sent to the desired destination depending on the clients' preferred contact method.
Lab Downloader (AU)
An optional add-on module is now available for downloading results from three Australian pathology laboratories: Gribbles, Laverty and IDEXX. This module works with VisionVPM version 344 and can download the results to the animal's clinical record. Contact Provet IT for further information.
Default Frequencies on Reminders
You can now set up default frequencies on the reminder that will come through automatically to the stock item or manual reminder. Reminder frequency can also be edited on the specific stock item instead of only on the reminder itself. A frequency option of weeks has been added.
Quick Animal Details
A new Animal Info button is available from the invoice window. This will display key information about the animal including current weight, breed, age and patient notes. A handy quick reference.
New Equine Fields
New left and right side branding fields have been added to the Equine Details window. "Embryo from Mare" and "Caslicked" fields have been added to the Pregnancy Summary. A new Signalment field is available for all merges and documents.
Reminders Triggering Diary Tasks
Reminders on stock items can be set up to trigger diary tasks for users, rather than reminders for the client.
Adhoc customisation
Customisation of invoice/statements, invoices, Estimates, Clinical Record Reports, Lab Result Reports and Clinical Examination reports is now possible using adhoc reports.
Merge Clinical Record Details
Animal documents merged in Microsoft Word can now include clinical record details such as date, notes, vet code, weight, body scores, dental scores, temperature and a list of drugs dispensed.
Matching Lab Results
There is now increased functionality to help you locate a matching consult record when lab results are unmatched.
Marketing Adhocs
New Adhoc reports available from the Marketing Schedule Results window enable you to produce lists or letters as required.
Default General Ledger Expense Accounts
Payee and Drawer codes can now have default General Ledger expense accounts attached. Streamline your payment system.
Controlled Drug Report
A new controlled drug report is available from the stock module for regular reporting of restricted drug sales and to facilitate auditing.
New Aged Debtor Options
Options to exclude bad debtors, inactive clients and clients in credit have been added to the Aged Debtor Report. A new Aged Debtor reconciliation routine has been added.
