Bulk update species

Go to: Maintenance menu > Database Maintenance > Client Maintenance > Update Animal Species.

You can now easily and quickly update animal species for all breeds attached the species. To do this:

1. Select the species name to change and then enter the species you wish to change it to.

   

2. Click Update, and VisionVPM will automatically change the species on all breeds linked to the old species name.
   • VisionVPM will then display a prompt similar to the one below:

   

3. Click Yes, and VisionVPM will display the details of the changed species.

   

Previously, you had to change the species on each individual breed.
