Ability to email pay slips

You can now email employees' pay slips, saving you both time and money. In order to do this, you must have entered the employee's email address on the Employee Details window.

Pay Run

Go to: Payroll module > Reports menu > Pay Slips

There are a number of changes that have occurred to the Pay Run function, listed below.

The Pay Slips options has been removed from the Pay Reports window, when you click Reports from the Employee Pay List window. You can now print or email pay slips after the Update has been completed.

If all employees on the pay run list have an email address, VisionVPM will not display the Set report destination window.

However, if you have employees that do not have an email address and you need to print their pay slips, you can select Printer as per the previous version.

VisionVPM will then open the Mail Merge window, from where you can select an existing email template or create a new email and then send.

Printing pay slip from Employee's Activity window

  1. Go to: Payroll menu > Employee Details > select company > select employee > Activity > enter date range > select pay transaction > Reports > Pay Slip.
  2. From the Set report destination window, select Email PDF.
  3. You can then either select an email template which you have previously created or click OK.

  4. When you have entered the body of the email, click Send.

Emailing multiple pay slips

Go to: Payroll module > Reports menu > Pay Slips.

An Email the report if the employee has an email address check box has been added to the Select Date Range window.

When selected, and if there are employees with an attached email address and pays in the selected date range, VisionVPM will open the Mail Merge window from where you can either select an existing email template or enter a new email and then Send the emails.

Please note if you have selected the Append the client code into the subject line check box on the Clients > Email / SMS Options > Email Setup > Email settings window,, then VisionVPM will display the employee's code in the Subject line on the email:
