After the End of Year rollover has been done you may wish to clear old transactions from your system prior to a certain date to reduce the size of your database.
This should be performed after hours as it will take some time and would significantly impair the performance of computers accessing VisionVPM (they would be extremely slow).
To Clear Transactions
Go to: Main menu > Maintenance module > Maintenance menu > Database Maintenance > General Maintenance > Clear Old Transactions.
Click Yes to continue.
Type start date in the From Date box and finish date in the To Date box, then click OK.
Click Yes to continue.
The procedure will then delete the data. If there is a lot of data, this will take some time.
