Change to actions on deceasing animals

Go to: Maintenance menu > System Defaults > Client tab.

You now have the ability to automatically delete reminders, future appointments and future diary notes for deceased animals.

A Remove deceased patients reminders/appts without prompting check box has been added to the Patient Details area.

When this option is selected, and you click the Deceased check box on the Animal Details window, and Saved, VisionVPM will automatically delete all:

• reminders,
• appointments dated tomorrow onwards, and
• diary notes dated tomorrow onwards.

When invoicing an item marked to Decease Animal, VisionVPM will display a prompt similar to the following:

When you click Yes, VisionVPM will:

• delete all reminders,
• delete all appointments dated tomorrow onwards,
• delete all diary notes dated tomorrow onwards, and
• generate all reminders from stock items on the invoice, for example, reminders for sympathy cards.
