There is a new Diagnostic Test Type List will allows you to enter laboratory result codes with the following information:

Units of measure for the test type. |
Species |
You can specify a species for a particular test type, allowing you to enter different result ranges per species. |
Absolute minimum |
The lowest value this test can achieve. VisionVPM will calculate the difference between the Absolute Minimum and the Normal Minimum. If the results falls in this range, VisionVPM will plot the result in the Low area of the Quick View graph. |
Normal minimum |
The lowest normal value. VisionVPM will calculate the difference between the Normal Minimum and the Normal Maximum. If the results falls in this range, VisionVPM will plot the result in the Normal area of the Quick View graph. |
Normal maximum |
The highest normal value. VisionVPM will calculate the difference between the Absolute Minimum and the Normal Minimum. If the results falls in this range, VisionVPM will plot the result in the Normal area of the Quick View graph. |
Absolute maximum |
The highest value this test can achieve. VisionVPM will calculate the difference between the Absolute Maximum and the Normal Maximum. If the results falls in this range, VisionVPM will plot the result in the High area of the Quick View graph. |
Once diagnostic test types have been entered, VisionVPM will use the result ranges to plot the Quick View graphs on the animal's Lab Results window and the Lab and Diagnostic Results windows.
When you insert a new test type, you have the option to select the Update the Quick View graph for previous lab results of this type check box.
If this check box is selected, VisionVPM will update all previous lab results of this type so that the graph works correctly for previous results.
