Sire Codes

Sire details are important for the identification of breeding horses and their offspring.

Sire codes are only used for equine records and can be applied from the Equine Details window.

A Location Code or a Sire Code must be in place for a record to be recognised as an equine record.

To Insert a New Sire Code

1. Go to: Main menu > Maintenance module > Maintenance menu > Lookup Lists > Animal Related Lists >Sire Codes.
2. Click Insert.

   

3. Enter a Code for the sire.
4. Enter the sire's name in the Description box.
5. Click Save.
