These reminders serve as internal reminders, rather than client reminders. For example, they may be used to remind you to make follow up phone calls. For example, a Diary note reminder to phone a client to ensure that their animal is making good progress after surgery.
To insert a Diary Note Reminder
Go to: Stock menu > Reminder Details.
Click Insert.
From the Stock Reminder window, click the Code arrow, and then double-click the reminder code.
The above reminder has been created with a default frequency of 12 days, but this can be changed if required.
Please note, when attaching a Diary note reminder to a stock item, the option to remove the reminder is not available.
Click Save.
Diary note reminders cannot be added manually via the Client Details window or the Animal Details Window.
Entries to the Diary can still be made directly from the Diary button on the Client Details and Animal Details windows.
To view Diary Note Reminders.
Go to: Main Menu > Diary.
Please note the following:
When you view the Reminder Detail List window from either the Client Details window or the Animal Details window, VisionVPM will not display any reminders marked asDiary note reminders.
Diary note reminders can only be generated via invoicing a stock item with a Diary note reminder attached. They cannot be generated through the Client Reminders or Animal Details window.
You can also view the Diary note reminders from the Client Details window > Diary and/or Animal Details window > Diary.
Diary note reminders will only be generated for an animal, if the animal's name is on the client invoice.
