Now, you can highlight fields on the Client Details and Animal Details windows you would like completed when staff are entering new clients and animals. This will give staff a visual clue regarding required data entry.
To select the required fields and the colour of the fields, go to: Maintenance menu > System Defaults > System tab > Highlight Fields.
From the Highlight Fields Setup window, you can then choose a colour for the selected fields.
Please note, we would not recommend using very dark colours, as you will not be able to see the text you are typing in the field.
There is an option if you wish to soften the colour if required.
Select whether to highlight the fields when inserting new records or when you are inserting or viewing records. If you chose to highlight fields only when Inserting Records, then the fields will only be highlighted on insertion of new records. Select Inserting/Viewing Records to highlight fields that do not contain desired data when existing clients are viewed, to encourage staff to ask for those details.
Select the fields that you want to be highlighted and when complete click Update.

When you start entering the details and TAB out of the field, VisionVPM removes the highlight, as per the example below:
