Analysis Groups

Analysis groups give you the power to divide and conquer your stock items. They provide enormous flexibility for tracking selected groups of stock items that have a commonality, for example, flea products. Some common analysis groups may include:

A single stock item can be a member of more than one analysis group, meaning that care must be taken in combining separate results of several analysis groups. Where a stock item is a member of more than one analysis group, the option to use One Analysis Group Per Stock Item for stock reports is available.

If this option IS selected, the stock item will be reported in the first analysis group listed in its details, but not in any other analysis groups.

If One Analysis Group Per Stock Item is NOT selected, then the stock item will be filtered on any of the relevant analysis groups in its details.
